PANORAMA

Macau-A view at Fisherman's Wharf

This was a panorama in Macau at the fisherman's wharf. I love clicking panoramas. When they stitch all together and you see the outcome and they turn up like imagined , its beautiful and gives immense joy. Its amazing how we assemble multiple images of a view into a single wide image.

In a panorama you can see the entire view together without having to divide it into various pictures. I wish, like how we can see the entire view in a panorama ,we would look at the bigger picture in our lives as well. It is so important to see things in a larger perspective and realize that we need to concentrate on the person we are turning up as and not on the materialistic things we have. Most people can achieve the materialistic needs but very rare achieve who they are. In the process and desperation to make it big we forget about ourselves. There is no point of having it all by losing yourself.

When our lives come to an end all we are remembered is for who we are and what we have is all left behind. So make your life meaningful and carry yourself with your future.

RACE

Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong
A view of the Victoria Harbour  at night. I took this picture from my hotel in Hong Kong. The lights and the busy road going through is beautiful.

We are so busy keeping up with this busy life that we forget to concentrate on the basics. The pressure of being something in life has taken away the joy of living life. We forget to live each day to the fullest not realizing it will pass and never come back. Life has become a race. Everything is just moving at a lightening speed and if you take your time to do things you will be left behind.

The high buildings make us feel that we can almost touch the sky. We are constantly trying to reach the top and be on top. The lights guide us through the night.

CHILDHOOD

A Beautiful Moment <3

One of my latest clicks for "Khoj Foundation" in Delhi during there session of Arts and Crafts. It is one of my favorite moment.

Happiness lies within you and not in what you have. It is related to your heart and not in what is in your hand. This picture makes me smile each and every time i look at it and hope it is the same for you. It makes me wonder that all the negative actions carried out by one to outdo another, is it really worth it? Does it even last forever ? We come with nothing and we take back nothing. It is just our doings that we leave behind in memories.

It was an amazing day spent with these little kids and their touching simplicity in everything they asked and said. Everything offered by life is taken for granted by the ones who have abundance of it. Today, the fast moving life has taken away the innocence of a child in a want to grow up faster.

You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” ― Ansel Adams

FIRST

My first post on my first blog. Always wanted to start one but was hesitant since not very expressive and good with words. Always felt blogs was for people who have a nag of writing. Then found an alternative to replace the words and what could be more perfect than "photographs".

Photography is an art of expressing yourself. When words fail a picture can talk. Its amazing to see how  one picture can say different things to different people. Its all about perception. What you see is what you learn and that is what adds to perception. Everything we see is a picture in our eyes which can help you express and understand.

Thats enough for the first day. Shall blog tomorrow with some updates.
